Bellingham’s girls’ swim team split its dual meet on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Arne Hanna Aquatic Center. Bellingham beat Sedro-Woolley 130-30 and lost to Archbishop Murphy 110-74.
Highlighting the meet for the Red Raiders were Emme McNabb and Anna McNabb. Emme McNabb won the 200 freestyle in both meets with a time of 2 minutes, 13.03 seconds, and Anna McNabb won the 100 freestyle in both meets in 1:02.91. They were also half of the relay team that won the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay against Sedro-Woolley.
Anna McNabb also won the 50 freestyle against Sedro-Woolley with a time of 28.84, and Emme took the 100 butterfly against Sedro-Woolley in 1:09.75.

Never miss a local story.
Sunni Sturnhagen won diving for Bellingham against Sedro-Woolley with a 156.95 and impressed Anderson.
“Sunni scored a couple of 6.5’s today,” he said. “That is a really nice looking dive and she was sick today.”
