Video: Family sees son's memorial sculpture for the first time

Stacy and Kelsey Marshall and their son Elliot Marshall, from Bainbridge Island, visit the rock sculpture they commissioned at Boss Construction in Ferndale on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016. When artist Andre Pomeroy of Marblemount finishes in about a month, the sculpture of two sea lions and their pups will be place in a park for special needs children on Bainbridge. The sculpture is being made in honor of the Marshall's son Owen, who died from cerebral palsy at age 6.

Senate health-care bill has some GOP moderates worried about the poor

The vast changes that the health-care bill would make to Medicaid, the country’s broadest source of public health insurance, would represent the largest single step the government has ever taken toward conservatives’ long-held goal of reining in federal spending on health-care entitlement programs in favor of a free-market system.
