Q: I have heard that my daughter's picture is in the Herald on page D3 or B3 under "Baker Blast Scoreboard" but I am not able to locate it. I am not sure what day this would be either but I am assuming it is either today or yesterday's edition.

Q: How can I e mail the text AND photo of the story about student Rebecca Gottlieb ( leaving Tufts and going to WWU)?

A: If you use the "e-mail" link in the top right of the story, the first several paragraphs of the story, along with a link to the full story and photographs, will be sent to the email address you provide.

Q: My son's photo was in the herald on June 27th on A3. Boy Builds,sells fire tongs. Is there a link to this picture online somewhere? Can we see the other photos taken somehow?
A: The photo is included in the Photos of the Week gallery, which you can find on this page: http://www.bellinghamherald.com/newsphotos/. Only photos that appeared in print or online are available.

Q: Why are some comments on articles removed, while others are not? What is the exact criteria used to censor comments? Why are some "hidden pending review" while others are flat out removed? There seems to be some distinct inconsistencies in the Herald's responses. Does "free-speech" not apply to the forums/comments?
A: We have one of the most open comment policies in newspapers. We allow our readers to set the bar for what's unacceptable. If enough people report abuse on a comment, it is removed.

Q: I recently registered so that we could post our library book sales on your calendar. Then I learned that our Central Services office at WCLS was already registered for this. How can I "un-register"?

A: If you've already gotten an email in reply to your registration and clicked the link to activate your account, you can go to the member center link in the upper right corner of the Web page and from there, deactivate the account. If you've never completed the registration process by clicking on the link in an email, you don't need to do anything. Also, it's fine to have more than one account from an agency.
