Whatcom County has many options for golfing, including private and semi-private clubs, resorts and public courses. Here are five public courses where you can get your Tiger Woods on. All courses offer discounted twilight rates during afternoon hours and many also offer discounts for seniors and juniors.

1. Dakota Creek Golf and Country Club

Course: 18-hole, Par 71

Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily (closing time changes seasonally)

Cost: 9 holes $15, 18 holes: $22 weekends, $20 weekdays

Location: 3258 Haynie Road, Custer

2. Grandview Golf Course

Course: 18 holes, Par 72

Hours: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily

Cost: 18 holes: $26 weekends, $22 weekdays; 9 holes: $17 weekends, $15 weekdays

3. Lake Padden Golf Course

Course: 18-hole, Par 72

Hours: 7 a.m. to dark, daily

Cost: 9 holes: $20 weekends, $17 weekdays; 18 holes: $33 weekends, $24 weekdays

4. North Bellingham Golf Course

Course: 18 hole, Par 72

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to dark, daily

Cost: 18 holes: $9 holes: $23 weekends, $19 weekdays; 40 weekends, $33 weekdays; $29 on Twilite Tuesdays, Men’s Day Wednesday and Ladies’ Day Thursday

Location: 205 W. Smith Road

5. Shuksan Golf Club

Course: 18 holes, Par 72

Hours: 8 a.m. to dark, daily

Cost: $29 Monday and Wednesday through Friday, $24 International Tuesday, $35 Saturday and Sunday
