I am deeply concerned about how we become educated as to the quality and capabilities of the candidates we elect. I believe we have become puppets of the media bias, promoted as truths but mostly unaccountable. We hear sound bites, see videos and are bombarded with smear campaigns, all of which then becomes our premise for who we elect.
These things are not to be trusted. Rather, we should look at the history of each individual in order to see what they really stand for. Ask ourselves; do they take responsibility for their actions, are they honest, do they have integrity, and are their policies realistic and good for the country?
And last but not least, America needs real leadership. Given the brutal polarization that now defines us on almost every front, maybe more important than anything else, can they unite us?
