Judging by TV sound bites and the hysterics of partisan pundits regarding the Supreme Court decision on Hobby Lobby, you might think there's a "war on women." Nothing could be further from the truth. All FDA-approved contraceptives, including those used to induce abortion, are readily available. The only difference is that family owned businesses with religious objections will not be required to provide them. An employee can get them free directly from the insurer just as employees from non-profits can. The Supreme Court simply follows the law embodied in the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This law states the government must use "the least restrictive methods" to accomplish its aims. I believe the Supreme Court made the right decision in this case by curbing government overreach.
