A few weeks ago, due to a medical emergency, my husband John was transported to Peace Health St. Joseph's Hospital by Ferndale Fire Department. The rapid response by the North Bellingham crew, followed by the Ferndale response team, was rapid and admirable. They were courteous, professional and very caring to both of us. The same can be said for the hospital staff at the ER, and 4th floor South. A big "thank you" to all concerned.
In these times it seems that we are overburdened with taxes for this, that and the other. However, when our community services are needed, we quickly realize that they are invaluable.
