About $2 million worth of the drug Ecstasy was seized at the Pacific Highway border crossing Wednesday, Oct. 1.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Jasbir Saran, 32, of Surrey, B.C., on suspicion of possessing about 200,000 tablets of Ecstasy.
Saran, a commercial truck driver, allegedly stored the Ecstasy in three duffel bags concealed in his truck, which was transporting boxes of toilet paper.
