A man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital Thursday morning, Sept. 25, after the car he was driving struck a tree, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Sandeep Singh, 28, was driving a Chevrolet Corvette at about 5:15 a.m., westbound in the 1300 block of West Axton Road, when his car drove off the road, struck a tree and came back onto the roadway, the State Patrol said.
The car was a total loss, but no other damage was reported.
Singh, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was treated and released at the hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, Trooper Keith Leary said.
