BELLINGHAM — Two Bellingham men were arrested on drug charges in a raid on a South Side home Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Members of the Northwest Regional Drug Task Force and the Bellingham Police Department raided a house in the 2900 block of Wilson Avenue after a nine-month investigation of several residents suspected of dealing heroin and crack cocaine from the home. After entering, officers detained five people, two of whom were arrested and booked into Whatcom County Jail.
Kyle John Martinson, 38, was booked on one count of delivery of heroin and three counts of delivery of crack cocaine. He also was served with a warrant from King County for several counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Christopher Lee Wallace, 23, was booked on six counts of delivery of heroin.
Before the raid, police had received many calls from neighbors who suspected drug dealing at the home.
A small amount of heroin and methamphetamine were found in the home, and a few hundred dollars in cash and a 2003 Ford Escape were seized, police said. They suspect Martinson and Wallace were selling a significant amount of heroin and crack in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
