Robert George Rough “Bob”, 90, passed away on Oct. 21, 2006 at his home in Park Village in Mount Vernon. He was born to William G. and Nina Rough on July 5, 1916 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A memorial will be held at the Park Village Club House on Oct. 28th at 2:00. He is survived
by one daughter (Mary Braun and husband Les) and one son (George and wife Prudy); dear friend and companion Mildred Long; two granddaughters (Kris and husband Mike Oliver), (Margie and Troy Tenkley) and two grandsons (Jon and Zack Rough); six great-grandchildren (Amber and Drew Oliver), (Taryn and Jenna Tenkley), (Layne and Ashtyn Rough); a host of close friends, members of the Elks, Camels, Eagles and the Mount Vernon Police Dept. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the organization of your choice or Hospice.
