The Bellingham chapter of Mended Hearts will present its first Heart Healthy Health Fair from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 11, at St. Luke’s Community Health Education Center, Room A, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.
Admission is free; the doors open at 9:30 a.m.
Information will be available about the cardiac benefits of nutrition, exercise, rehabilitation and volunteering; the importance and challenges of blood thinners; the types of heart medications; depression related to heart disease; and sleep apnea and heart disease.
