An exhibit showcasing current light-based technologies will make its way to more than a dozen locations in Whatcom County in 2015.
The exhibit, “Light: Beyond the Bulb” will feature a series of high-quality images relating to the science of light with descriptions of technologies that use light.
The United Nations has proclaimed 2015 as the international year of light and light-based technologies. SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, helped offer free images to people all over the world to be used in exhibits. Some of the images used can be found at lightexhibit.org.
