All veterans may use the walk-in services being provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Puget Sound Health Care System.
Services will be provided 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, through Thursday, Nov. 20, and 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 21.
Veterans can get primary care/wellness services, including flu shots; help for poor eyesight; and eligibility/enrollment services (bring DD Form 214).
Such mobile units are an effort to reach out to veterans in rural and under-served communities. And it’s an opportunity for the Veterans Health Administration to partner with American Indian tribes to serve both tribal and non-tribal veterans, according to a Department of Veterans Affairs news release.
