FERNDALE — Nearly 1,800 Puget Sound Energy customers in Ferndale were without power for about an hour and 40 minutes after a midday outage Monday, Aug. 18.
At about noon, 1,781 customers lost power, according to a PSE spokesman.
All but one customer had gotten power back by 1:40 p.m. The last customer was expected to get power back by 6 p.m.
The city of Ferndale reported a line was damaged during the Church Road project, and PSE posted that a third-party contractor inadvertently dug up an underground line.
