Danielle Starr has announced that after 10 years in business, she will close her Fairhaven clothing store 4 Starrs Boutique. The last day of business will be Thursday, June 11.
The store at 960 Harris Ave. offers women’s and men’s clothing and accessories. New inventory will continue to come in during the final weeks of business and Starr plans to offer discounts. Currently the discounts are 20 percent off; it increases to 30 percent May 27-31, 50 percent June 1-4, 60 percent June 5-7 and 75 percent June 8-11. All the fixtures are also on sale.
Starr said she decided to close the business in order to spend more time with family. She’s been working up to seven days a week and needed a break. Retail is her passion, however, so she didn’t rule out a return to retail at some point.
Updates on the business during these final weeks can be found on its Facebook page.
