A few business events are coming up this week:
• The Washington Small Fruit Conference and Lynden Ag Show will be held Dec. 4-5 at the NW Washington Fairgrounds. The two-day event has a several presentations on a variety of topics for farmers, including water issues, pollination, the state of the berry industry and pest management.

• Maniac Coffee Roasting is having an open house at its new location on2000 Franklin St.,
Suite 101 in Bellingham. The event runs from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. Those who drop by will get to see the coffee roasting operation and have refreshments, including coffee. A non-perishable donation for the Bellingham Food Bank is appreciated, but not mandatory.
• 3D Corporation will be hosting an opening house and a free presentation called “Minimizing Business Risk with Better Technology.”
The event takes place 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 2103 Grant St. in Bellingham. It’s geared toward local business owners and managers. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk to 3D engineers on a variety of security and disaster avoidance topics.
