Here's a news release from The Woods Coffee about its plans for a single-serve cold brew coffee:
Bellingham, WA—July 29, 2014—The Woods Coffee today announced its plans to sell its Cold Brew coffee in new single-serve, 12-ounce to-go bottles beginning this week. Previously, Cold Brew was available in either in-store cups or growlers to go. Woods’ new single-serve bottles will give guests a more convenient way to enjoy Cold Brew on the go.
“People are looking for ways to take the Cold Brew coffee with them wherever they go, without sacrificing taste,” said Wes Herman, Woods Coffee owner. “The new single serve bottle is a great way to get fresh, Cold Brewed coffee whenever you want it.”
Woods’ brewing process for each batch of Cold Brew coffee involves a special 12-hour extraction process using cold water, resulting in two-thirds less acidity than standard iced coffee and a smoother taste. Cold Brew is brewed fresh daily in Lynden and delivered to each of Woods’s 14 Whatcom County locations.
The new Cold Brew single-serve bottles come in a unique design, chosen with the Woods coffee drinker in mind.
“These new Cold Brew bottles are a fun stubby bottle that will be very popular,” said Herman.
