Here are a few things to pass along...
-- The Bellwether Market is looking to get open either Friday or Saturday, May 9-10, said owner Ann McEvoy. The store is going into the small building on Bellwether Way, near the Bellwether Hotel.
Once open, the market will offer a variety of items to serve the different groups in the area. That includes catering to office workers in the area with boxed lunches, a food cart, and a delivery service. Boaters and hotel guests will have a place to pick up necessary items, and other residents and tourists visiting Bellwether Way can check out the store's gifts, specialty wines, meats, cheeses, chocolates and salads.
-- Flip, a children's consignment store, is close to opening next to ReStyle Consignment in the Meridian Plaza (near Denny's). According to a post on Facebook, Flip is expected to open later this week and is currently taking consignment items.
-- Juice It, which made fruit drinks at the Bellingham Public Market, has closed. The owner of the market, Stephen Trinkaus, is looking for a new owner to take it over, according to a post on the Terra Organica Facebook page.
-- Also on its Facebook page, Terra Organica announced it is moving forward with its expansion plans and will move into the empty space on the south side of the building.
