The national champion Western Washington University Women's Rowing team will be at Safeco Field Thursday afternoon for a special tribute prior to the Seattle Mariners' baseball game with San Diego, including the ceremonial first pitch by team captain Audrey Coon.

The Vikings won their fifth straight NCAA Division II title on May 31, an unprecedented accomplishment in any rowing division of the NCAA. The varsity eight completed a perfect season with 10 wins in as many races.

Coon rowed in the No.7 seat of the varsity eight. She was a first-team Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-American and a first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American.

Game time Thursday is 1:40 p.m.
