Bellingham Public Market: 1530 Cornwall Ave., 647-8006. Ten percent discount for seniors ages 65 and older at participating businesses every Wednesday.
Fred Meyer: 738-4210 (Lakeway) or 788-2900 (Bakerview). Occasional discount Tuesdays with 10 percent off for seniors.

Mt. Baker Lanes: 1788 LaBounty Drive, Ferndale, 384-0235. Ages 60 and older pay $2 per game during open bowling hours.
Park Bowl: 4175 Meridian St., 734-1430. Ages 55 and older pay $2.25 per game from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.
20th Century Bowling: 1411 N. State. St., 734-5250. Ages 50 and older pay $1.75 per game.
Arne Hanna Aquatic Center: 1114 Potter St., 647-7665. $1 off on swimming and water aerobics for ages 62 and older.
YMCA: 733-8630 (Bellingham), 380-4911 (Ferndale), 354-5000 (Lynden). Discounts on annual and monthly membership for singles and senior couples, (65 and older); offers special classes for seniors.
Private health clubs: Many private health clubs offer special programs and classes for seniors and some offer membership and fee discounts.
Bellingham Country Gardens: 2838 Kelly Road, 223-3724. Anyone can purchase a $20 punch card that is good for $25 in produce purchases. Open Saturdays and Wednesdays, July through October.
Bromley’s Market: 315 Cherry St., Sumas, 988-4721. Tuesdays/Thursdays purchases of more than $25 are 5 percent off (for all ages).
Community Food Co-op: 1220 N. Forest St., 734-8158. Free membership for ages 62 and older.
Whatcom Transportation Authority: 676-RIDE, www.ridewta.com. People age 65 or older, or with a Medicare card or disability are eligible to apply for a Reduced Fare Card.
Pickford Cinema: Discounted memberships for ages 58 and older.
Regal Cinemas: $5.75 discounted ticket price for ages 60 and older.
