Supports I-409 to stop illegal immigration

Polls suggest the majority of citizens profess a desire for stopping illegal immigration. A desire that is ignored by our representatives at all levels of government.

We, the people, have the chance, by signing petition I-409, to force our state and local government to hear our dissension and act in favor of the citizens and legal residents of this state. Initiative I-409 will require our state and local governments to cooperate with federal authorities to enforce current immigration laws. The initiative also requires employers to verify legal work status and agencies to verify legal status for a person to obtain state, local or federal entitlements and prohibits the issuance of a Washington State driver’s license to illegal aliens.

Washington is one of five states that issues driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. This practice, when coupled with a completely dysfunctional verification procedure and 37 out of 39 counties using a mail in ballot system, is an incubator for voter fraud. Your vote, bestowed to only citizens of the United States, is your most cherished entitlement. Protect it!
