Says Congress should put Americans first

A controversy continues to swirl about who will receive the U.S. Air Force tanker contract. With a staggering trade imbalance and a weakening economy, it is nonsense for the U.S. government to consider this work being done overseas.

The foreign bid may have been a little less but we shouldn’t allow $35 billion to be siphoned out of the USA for work that can do here.

We need to keep the money and jobs at home. Thousands of extra jobs will be created when the money is put into circulation here.

Every country in the world suffering from a hurricane, tsunami, earthquake or other natural disaster comes to the USA looking for a handout, which they usually get.

We have the same problems here and will have more. We pour billions of dollars into foreign drains with no bottom. Numerous studies show that a large percentage of our largesse never reaches those in need.

Our Congress complains about private business shipping jobs overseas and should never consider any U.S. Government work be done by foreigners if it can be done here.

Let’s patronize our country first, be American and buy American.
