School is once again out for summer and that means one thing, more children playing outside. I write to remind us all of a simple rule that I see violated time and time again all over Bellingham; stopping at stop signs. I have watched countless times as cars drive straight through stop signs without even pretending to hit the brakes or fake a good "California roll."
Stop signs are not optional, they are not just for the other guy, and they are not out to get us or inconvenience us in any way.
Stop signs are the law, please obey and stop. After all, with all the children now playing outside, the life you save may be someone else's.
