Activists should help veterans adjust

I am a proud mother of an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran.
As I reflect back on the meeting about the sanctuary city idea, which I attended, I believe the peace activist's energy would best serve our community by meeting with the veteran organizations helping discharged military personnel adjust into civilian life; not with those who break the law by going AWOL.
