Disagrees with letter about balloon hoax

On Sunday, Nov. 22, you printed a letter in which a Blaine resident praised "Balloon Boy's" parents, Richard and Mayumi Heene, for their panache, verve and exquisite showmanship in perpetuating a hoax.

Apparently that letter's author is rather bored and disaffected. He would rather be entertained than consider the waste of taxpayer money and the mental and emotional costs wrought by a false report of a 6-year-old boy in a runaway balloon.

To that letter's author I say "kindly spend your own money for entertainment," and to quote those who peddle high drama: "Get a life."
