A recent news release stated that there will not be a cost of living adjustment for people on Social Security and that this is the first time in 40 years that this has happened.

I now find out that President Obama has approved a 2 percent salary increase for all federal employees. This is on top of an automatic increase that will take effect Jan. 1, 2010, for the legislative, judicial and executive branches of our government. Also, Medicare premiums will go up just the same as they do each year. This is all verified on the Internet on the government web site.

Check it out, and then if you are OK with this then do nothing. But if you are upset with the way our politicians are rewarding themselves and denying you, then give them a call or e-mail and tell them you are mad as hell.
