Michelle Luke is the right choice for Whatcom County Council. Her experience as a business woman and her work with environmental issues before the County Council give her the necessary qualifications to represent Whatcom County citizens.

I personally interviewed Michelle and know that she feels blessed to live in Whatcom County. Michelle understands that we all want to continue living, working, and playing in this wonderful place we call home. But she also knows we need representation willing to make tough decisions that balance our environmental interest with our economic interests. Michelle is the only candidate that has vowed to respect individual rights when making these difficult decisions.

Michelle knows what it is like to be in front of the County Council, as a citizen, and realizing that the ordinary citizen has little or no influence on the decisions. She also knows that it is time that the council represents the people, not special interests.
