Unhappy about event at Bellingham theater

I wish to convey my extreme displeasure about an upcoming event at the Mount Baker Theatre. David Icke, who I believe is a notorious anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, is scheduled to have an event today. Icke claims that a Jewish elite is behind everything from WWI to the Holocaust to 9/11 to President Obama and swine flu.

Mount Baker Theatre is a publicly funded venue. Our tax dollars should not be supporting a place where the most hateful bigotry is being spread.

I find it extremely hurtful and inappropriate that my own money is contributing in any way to such an event. I encourage city residents to exert pressure on the MBT to cancel this event, and on Mayor Pike and the City Council to remove all public funding from the venue if they refuse.
