Kamps named interim principal at Lynden Christian High

LYNDEN - A former Lynden Christian Schools superintendent will serve as interim prinicipal of Lynden Christian High School next academic year.

Gary Kamps spent 18 years as superintendent until his retirement in 2005. Three years ago he served as interim principal at Everett Christian School.

Kamps is replacing Keith Lambert, who had been at the school for 12 years and principal for nine. Lambert resigned to move to Spokane where his wife accepted an administrative position at Whitworth University.

A search committee will renew its efforts to find a new principal for the 2010-11 school year, according to Superintendent Don Kok.
