This pristine mountain meadow offers astounding views of Mount Baker and numerous other surrounding peaks.
The trail diverges from the Tomyhoi Lake Trail after 1˝ miles and traverses through several drainages before reaching the butte.

Getting there: Drive east on Highway 542 to the Glacier Public Service Center. From there, travel 12 miles to Twin Lakes Road (Forest Service Road 3065) just beyond the Department of Transportation’s Shuksan maintenance facility. Follow road 4.5 miles to trailhead. Drive time from Bellingham: 1 hour, 30 minutes. Parking: Park along the road.
