The Blaine volleyball team needed five games to defeat Northwest Conference opponent Sedro-Woolley 25-16, 12-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-11, on Thursday, Oct. 22.

"Sedro-woolley was really scrappy with good defense," Blaine coach Sheli Moore said in a phone interview. "I'm happy our team stayed in the game and really pulled it together to take it in five."

Blaine (5-10, NWC 4-8) hosts Mount Baker at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26.
