Oh, the amazing decade that was the 1980s.
It brought us so many fun things: neon, leggings, shoulder pads, danceable music and, of course, who can forget the cartoons?
My earliest rock star aspirations (fulfilled now only on karaoke nights) came from the cartoon "Jem and the Holograms." So it was only natural that I would be drawn to Retropolitan's $20 Jem earrings - big, bold and full of the candy colors that littered the show.
