The guacamole is authentic Mexican, a generations-old family recipe from the late grandmother of a former colleague. The razor clam recipe is adapted from several that can be found online. Frozen razor clams are available year-round from the seafood counter at Fred Meyer (call ahead to make sure they have some defrosted). The meatballs are Greek comfort food that my wife says approach her Ya-Ya’s recipe from the Old Country. Sauces for deep-fried chicken wings come from Doug Clark of Sudden Valley, who was known to whip up a batch around his firehouse.
