Julian Velard presents his engaging style of theatrical, piano-based pop at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Lairmont Manor, 405 Fieldston Road.
On his latest release, “If You Don’t Like It, You Can Leave,” Velard brings it all back to New York City, his birthplace and lifelong home, with original songs about happiness and heartbreak across the five boroughs.
Velard has appeared on NPR and is a regular guest on “Ask Me Another” with Ophira Eisenberg.
