Cirque du Soleil’s latest production, “Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities,” opens Thursday, Jan. 29, at Marymoor Park, 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway, in Redmond.
Written and directed by Michel Laprise, “Kurios” is a tale in which time comes to a stop, transporting the audience inside a fantasy world where everything is possible.
In the realm set in the latter half of the 19th century, reality is quite relative indeed as one’s perception of it is utterly transformed. The name of the show refers to the humble and strange characters who inhabit the Seeker’s Cabinet of Curiosities. What if, by engaging our imagination and opening our minds, we could unlock the door to a world of wonders?
The production runs through March 22. Details: cirquedusoleil.com/kurios.
