New York pianist and guitarist Kenny White joins Nashville guitarist Amy Speace at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Green Frog, 1015 N. State St.
This is the first time White will perform in Bellingham, but Washington is a strong influence on his music. His latest album, “Comfort in the Static,” was written over summers spent in Ballard and Madison Park in Seattle. The album title comes from a lyric in “Useless Bay,” the first track, which is about Whidbey Island. The touching “In Magnolia” is the other Seattle-area song.
