Kathleen Flinn is the author guest on the Chuckanut Radio Hour, Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Heiner Center Theater, Whatcom Community College, 231 W. Kellogg Road.
Flinn found her way into the hearts of readers, cooks and food lovers with her New York Times-bestselling memoir "The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry;" and her second book, "The Kitchen Counter Cooking School." She will talk about her new book, "Burnt Toast Makes You Sing Good," which explores the origins of Flinn's love of all things culinary.
The show's musical guest is local pianist Julianne Thoma.
