Once every two years, visitors can see private gardens on Point Roberts. This year's self-guided tour, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20, gives visitors access to eight gardens and includes afternoon tea with entertainment, and master gardeners to answer questions.
Tickets, $15, come with a map that shows the gardens, plus restaurants for visitors who might want lunch or dinner.
An enhanced driver's license or passport will be needed to enter Canada on the way to the Point. Details: pointrobertsgardenclub.org, 360-945-2066.
