BELLINGHAM - Candidates for everything from Congress to the state Legislature are scheduled to discuss behavioral health care reform Thursday, Oct. 9.
The event is sponsored by the National Alliance for Mental Illness of Whatcom County and Skagit County, affiliates of the national organization.
U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Everett, and Republican challenger Rick Bart will be there. State Legislature candidates also will be there, including Democratic Rep. Kelli Linville, Republican challenger Jere Hawn and state Senate candidates Democrat Kevin Ranker and Republican Steve Van Luven.
It takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.
