Korthuis maintains lead in Lynden mayor's race

LYNDEN - Scott Korthuis maintained his lead in the city's mayoral race as updated election results came in Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Early election results Tuesday night showed Korthuis leading Gary Bode by almost 52 percent to more than 48 percent. The numbers were about the same Wednesday, with Korthuis leading by about 100 votes with more than 2,500 cast in the race.
The next update will be available about 5 p.m. Thursday.
