Lautenbach wins Everson council seat

EVERSON - Incumbent Jennifer Lautenbach had a wide lead in the race for a seat on City Council Tuesday night, Nov. 3.

Eric Oettel challenged Lautenbach for her Position 2 seat. Early election results Tuesday showed Lautenbach with nearly 71 percent of the vote, while Oettel had about 29 percent.

Lautenbach is a stay-at-home mom who has been on the council since 2006. Oettel is a local business owner who was making his first run for office.
