Ferndale insole manufacturer Superfeet Worldwide Inc. is releasing two gender-specific insole models designed to regulate foot temperature of winter sport footwear, specifically for snowboard and ski boots.

The advanced design technology builds on the original Superfeet Wintergreen Premium Insole, which was discontinued in May. The new insole helps protect the feet from cold, according to a company press release.

"It's exhilarating to create a new product that we know has been absent from other company's lines," said Superfeet product manager Ward Collins. "The ski and snowboard markets have long needed an insole that not only addresses the heat issue, but also provides biomechanical performance and edge control."

The company began fabricating insoles more than 30 years ago and distributes its products around the world. More information about the company can be found at www.superfeet.com.
