closeA Fairhaven business is participating in a fundraiser for the Agape Home.
Fun To Shop will hold a raffle for a Hula Hoop and is organizing a team of Hula Hoopers to walk in the Agape Home's "One Mile March For Moms" walk, said owner Jaimie Berg. The walk starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Maritime Heritage Park.
Agape Home is the Lighthouse Mission's homeless shelter for women and children. The one-mile walk has a $5 registration fee. For more information about the event, go online to www.newagapehome.com.
Fun To Shop, at the corner of 12th Street and Harris Avenue in Sycamore Square, also is accepting donations for the Agape House. For more information about the business, call 676-5100.
