Naturopathic office to have grand opening celebration

Root of Healing Naturopathic Medicine will have a grand opening celebration in September.

Rebecca Maya Parker is a board-certified naturopathic doctor who treats adults and children with health issues such as allergies, asthma, Attention Deficit Disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, fertility challenges, menopausal symptoms, migraines and sleep difficulties.

A graduate of Bastyr University and the New England School of Homeopathy, Parker uses classical homeopathy, allergy elimination, cranial sacral therapy and somato-emotional release in the care of her patients. Her associate and husband, Richard Blake, is a clinical hypnotherapist who helps people understand and remove unwanted behaviors and self-limiting beliefs. Root of Healing is having a grand opening party on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 1903 D Street in Bellingham.
