Mark Favro has joined North Coast Credit Union as director of information technology.

Favro, a native of Washington, has more than 11 years experience in Information Technology Management. He has a degree in business administration/management from Western Washington University.

Favro was selected from over 50,000 employees to be as one of 20 participants in a former employer's junior executive/mentorship training program and was named Information Technology person of the year in 2006.

Physical therapist passes certification exam

Juliana Bohn at Core Therapeutics PT in Fairhaven has passed her level 3 certification exam through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy earning the title of Certified Manual Physical Therapist.

This three-year process requires extensive continuing education, submission of three case studies and passing written and practical exams.

Bohn has more than 25-years experience as a physical therapist and educator.

She also has a special clinical interest in upper cervical dysfunction due to whiplash.

Sales associate earns designation

Patty Gray, a sales associate at Fairhaven Realty, recently earned the Graduate Realtor Institute designation from the Washington Association of Realtors.

The designation is awarded to professional real estate practitioners who complete three 30-hour classes. The material covers several facets of real estate practice, from the laws that apply to transferring real property to how to effectively market homes for sale.
