Method Homes, a Seattle manufacturer of sustainable prefabricated housing, has completed its first cabin in Glacier.

The company takes steps to insure it has an environmentally friendly design, including using locally grown and recycled building materials, as well as energy efficient lighting and solar options.

The company is planning to build more demonstration homes and is working with Kulshan Community Land Trust to design and build green affordable housing in an urban context.
