Trans-Ocean Products promotes 5 employees

Trans-Ocean Products, Inc., the country’s leading surimi seafood processor headquartered in Bellingham, recently made several personnel changes.

The company promoted David Green and Larry Mulvey to vice president of operations and vice president of business development, respectively.

The company also announced the promotions of Allen Leaf to director of finance and administration and Juan Baldovinos to controller. Paul Comchoc was named manager of information technology.

Before being named vice president of operations, Green was operations manager at Trans-Ocean.

Mulvey was previously national business development manager for Trans-Ocean, and before that was national business development manager for the food broker Advantage Sales & Marketing, heading its office in Buffalo, N.Y.

Leaf previously was finance manager for Trans-Ocean. He now will direct the company’s financial planning and budget management functions and will be responsible for management of internal staff and the information technology department.

Baldovinos previously was assistant controller. In his new position, he will monitor and analyze operating results and budgets and work with department managers to provide financial and costing information.

Comchoc is responsible for keeping Trans- Ocean at the leading edge of available technology. He will implement and monitor all information systems, such as data management, networking, hardware needs and software design.
