Dr. Richard and Carol Gardner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 28th. They met in the choir at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. They were married in Portland, Oregon where Carol was raised. The couple celebrated earlier on a cruise of the Panama Canal and a trip to St. Thomas Island. They have three sons. David and wife Cheryl live in Winfield Kansas with their four daughters. Jonathan lives in Manton, California. Steven and wife Chantel live in Bellingham with their five-month-old son Max. The whole family is going to Sunriver, Oregon to celebrate together. Richard is semi-retired and has practiced dermatology in Bellingham since 1973.
