Fawn Macaras and Casey Morgan announce their engagement and plans for an October 17 wedding in Lynden.

Fawn is the daughter of Loren and Shannon Macaras of Maple Falls. She is a graduate of Squalicum High School and Whatcom Community College. She is self employed through her business, Office Help Center.

Casey is the son of Howard and Sue Morgan of Bellingham. He is a graduate of Meridian High School and is employed at BP Cherry Point Refinery.

The couple met through mutual friends. The proposal took place Christmas 2008 which was also the groom's 30th birthday. They're planning a honeymoon trip to Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas.
